SEEED Ally Party
SEEED has thrown it’s Spring Ally party. It started off with a meet and greet with Mayor Kincannon and Superintendent Cassius Cash of the Great Smoky Mountains Park. They spoke of the importance of civic engagement and the resources around were there to help out our people. Afterwards everyone watched a video on the connection between Career Readiness Program and our Green Construction program. This was followed up by a speed networking game that helped served as an ice breaker between our students, staff, and our supporters. The ending was capped with a mixer in which everyone got to talk and enjoy their time together. It was a moment in which everyone could take time to enjoy the fruits of their labor and take a moment from their studies in order to enjoy as their roots come in contact with others.
We would like to thank Mayor Indya Kincannon, the City of Knoxville, Sierra Club, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, The McNabb Center, Braynt’s Bridge, Metro Drug Coalition, our donors and everyone supporting us in spirit and in person.
