Pre-apprenticeship Program
Are you 16-28? Live in urban Knoxville? Looking for a job but don't know how to prepare yourself to find one? Or maybe you can get a job but for some reason or another you always lose it? Our pre-apprenticeship program prepares you with all the skills and support you need to find a job. Graduates of our pre-apprenticeship program who are interested in green jobs are assisted with finding internships, getting into training or college, or placed directly into a job.

Or you can call Laurel at 257-1364. We'll come pick you up if you don't have transportation and take you to our community center where you can meet with our staff and learn what the program is all about.
It's 90 days of training in basic job skills, career assessment, and setting goals towards the path of the career you've always dreamed about.
It's 50 hours of community service.
