Knoxville City/Stakeholders Weatherization Planning Meetings
After IBM proposed that the city gather stakeholders to develop a plan to weatherize low income homes last August, they formed a group to study the issue. SEEED has "seeded" the 4 committees (funding, education, landlords, and data) with our people and our Executive Director, Stan, is on the steering committee.
We are now looking for interested homeowners and young people to get involved in the planning process.
We will be holding a series of city street events starting after Christmas to let people know what is going on and how they can become involved. SEEED organizational meetings will start in January.
